Bob Carlos Clarke is the photographer that I really admire. He is well known for his Erotic Art but people do not realise that his still life and portrait photography is well up there with the best of them. His still life was created from items he found while walking along the Themes river.
The main thing Bob was so good at was his work in the dark room, such an eye for detail that brought his images to life. I have visited the Little Black Gallery in Chelsea a few times now which was run by his wife Linda after his death and has a room that is dedicated to his work.
Here are some of my Pastiche work in homage to him. If I can find the right model I would love to recreate some more of his work.
